Don W.- Ive struck ouf three times. Celia M. Why not move across the country for a wife. Don W. I am wondering wether there is any place in the world at all for a three-time loser. 1 I am nearly 30 and have been very much in love three times, but I always struck out after courting the girl for several months. It was always the same story I'm a nice guy, but just as a brother or a friend. I'm no Rock Hudson, I'll admit, but neither as I a freak. I have a good job and I'm no alcoholic although I've . taken to hanging around the nieghborhood tavern because I'm so darn lonesome. My sister, who lives in another state, wants me to come live with her for a while and she says she'll get me paired off with some, one but I don't see why I should have to move halfway across the country to get mar ried when other guys do it all the time around here. Celia M. Poor Don has had a very rough time and I think one reason he doesn't get married is that he has no family contacts where he is. When he got out of the Army he took care of our widowed mother. She was very ill for a long time and then she died two years ago. Don is now living in a commu nity where nobody knows him or anything about our family. Maybe the girls hesitate to get involved with someone who is al most like a wanderer in their midst. I konw that Don has felt very crushed every time he has had a rejection and I don't think it's good for his ego. Maybe he doesn't approach these girls with enough confidence. The few times he has come to visit me, the neighborhood girls have al ways shown an interest in him. Why not move across the coun try for a wife? The Council We think Celia Custodian To Change For Medford Armory First Lt. Jack C. Phillips, Old Military rd., will be responsible for the business rental of the armory, it has been reported. The lack of family contacts may be hand icapping Don in his quest for a wife. The mesh of family asso ciations, friends from childhood and school that surrounds most individuals gives them both a wide sphere of contacts and greater worth and weight in the eyes of the world at large. The fact Don has taken to hanging around the neighbor hood tavern suggests he has not made strong, meaningful ties in the community. Girls have good reasons to hesitate about serious involvements with men whose associations are unknown. If Don doesn't want to make the big move to his sister's home, we'd suggest he get actively con nected with, a church group and some community enterprises. This would make him better known and would perhaps make up for his lack of family ties.
