License Plate Contract
Salem HP Irwin-Hodson
Company, Portland, today was
awarded a S141.000 contract to
furnish license plates and plate
inserts to the Department of Mo
tor Vehicles this year and next.
The contract was about $12,
000 over cost of the 1956 plates.
Irwin-Hodson was the only
company to submit bids al
though the finance department
invited four organizations to sub
mit bids for the plates.
