MEDFORD (OREGON) Sherry Fong Slated To Face Fourth Trial Portland HP) Sherry Fong will face trial for the fourth time on the same murder charge on Oct. 14. Circuit Judge Charles W. Red ding has set that date for .the trial. Mrs. Fong is accused of the 1954 slaying of Diane Hanks, her 16-year-old babysitter. Mrs. Fong was convicted by a jury of first degree murder in her first trial but Circuit Judge Alfred P. Dobson set aside the verdict. The second trial ended in a mistrial and the third time she was convicted again but the state court reversed the decision. Judge Redding's action fol lowed an Oregon Supreme Court mandate which reversed the 1955 second degree murder con viction and sent the case back to Circuit Court.
