Recent week end guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Roberts were Mr. and Mrs. Buck Lambert and daughter, Karen, of Prineville. Lambert was here to announce the Rogue Valley Roundup. He also has completed an acting part in the moving pic ture "Oregon Passage" shot in Bend. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Donegan of San Francisco, Calif, were visi tors in this area recently. While visiting at Walt McGuire's Myr tlewood shop here, Dongean no1 ticed a horseshoe above the door of the shop and inquired as to where it was found. McGuire said he dug it up at the rear of the building while he was getting his shop established. Donegan then told him that his shop was located on the former site of a blacksmith shop owned and operated by his father, Pat Donegan. While here the Done gans also visited Chris Kenney, an old friend of the family. Guests at the Oscar Lewis home recently were Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Morgan and chil dren of El Segundo, Calif. Visi tors at the Lewis home last week were Mr. and Mrs. Skipper Mor gan and children of Sacramento, Calif. Miss Joyce Sandell of Oak land, Calif., a former resident here, returned here this week with Miss Clara Mae Anderson for visit in Jacksonville. Miss Anderson attended summer school while in Oakland. Raymond Lewis is visiting friends In La Jolla, Calif., and also spent some tirfte in southern California on a vacation trip. He expects to return home the latter part of this month, e Mr. and Mrs. Jesse V. Hama- ker of Horse Creek, Calif., spent last week end visiting relatives in Medford and Jacksonville. New residents in Jacksonville this week are Mr. and Mrs. Tim Horn and children of Medford. They are living at 404 South Oregon st. o Mr. and Mrs. Neil Johnson and sons of Angwin, Calif., have been summer visitors at the home of Johnson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Johnson, for the past three weeks. Mr. and Airs. George Tucker and Mr. and Mrs. R. V. Stevens of Medford accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Lamb of Jack sonville last Sunday took a trip to Toketee Falls. Mrs. Mary Crawford and daughter, Anna, arehouse guests of Mr. and Mrs. John Caird of South Third st. Ms. Crawford and her family used to live on Bellinger lane. Mr. and Mrs. John Cook of Molalla, Ore., arrived Saturday mornigg to spend a lew days visit with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hoskins.
