Killed were Duncan Maaon Mclnnis, 23, pilot of the plane, Glenn Aldo Smyr, 29. and kis step-d a u g h t e r, Linda, 8, f Aloha. The three were kilted when the plane struck a tree te4 just a few hundreds yards away from where Mclnnis' twiH Wroth er, father, sitter and another brother were watching tkem ia the sky. The plane crashed into a field ot hay, where, just miautes be fore Mclnnis had finished mewiag. The accident occurred just shortly after p.m. After the plane era-shed, it burned and it wasn't until almost two hours later ihat seighbors wer8 able to remove the charred bodies with the help of backsavs imi wire cutters. The plans had been rented from Wick's Flyin Service in Hillaboro. Mclnnis had been flyinf for about six yeSrs. Cause of the crash was iot determined right away.
