For the White Rose variety a

recommended for U. S. No. 2's.

cent was suggested

Sutherlin Plant To
Close Down Friday

Corp. today announced indefi
nite closure of its Sutherlin,
Ore., operations, effective to
morrow. About 90 men were due to be
laid off, 70 of them immediately.
But a company spokesman said
every effort would be made to
absorb as many as possible at
the larger Oakland, Ore., opera
tions of the firm.
Officials said the closure
would be for an indifinite pe
riod, "due to general market
conditions."
