Members and husbands were , served dinner preceding the var- ious ceremonies. Mrs. Clareoce B. Partch was honored guest for the evening. Mrs. Partch for several years was county chairman of the Easter Seal campaign. Her in terest in crippled children has continued, and she has cooper ated in helping many of the chapter money raising projects for the benefit of the Crippled Children's Hospital school lo cated in Eugene. Mrs. Lyman Smith presented Mrs. Chester Peterson and Mrs. Russell Roseborough with ten year pins, in recognition of active sorority work. Alpha Lambda chapter was j chartered June 28, 1946. Mrs. I Fred Stammen, now of Albany, Calif., is the only charter mem ber to have received a ten-year pin. Mrs. Howard Phillips was pre i sented a past president's gavel.
