The bride is a graduate of Malin High school and attended Southern Oregon college. Ash land, the past two years major ing in education. The bridegroom attended Crater High school. He enlisted in the United States Navv in November. 1956. and is assigned to duty on the USS Hooper j Island San Diego. His par- ents are Mr. and Mrs. Parker, Lampman road. Lester Arrives Mrs. Don Newbury has ar rived in Medford from Phoenix, Ariz., and will spend the sum mer at her home. 7 Eastwood drive. The bride chose for her wed ding a ballerina length white lace and nylon tulle frock with finzertop length veil which was held by a cap trimmed with pearls. She carried a bouquet of small white flowers encircling a white orchid. Mrs. Keith Kimmons, cousin of the bride, was honor attend ant. Mrs. Robert H. Jones of Toketee Falls, Ore., was brides matron for her sister. They wore pale blue organdy ballerina length frocks with matching pic ture hats and carried bouquets of pink carnations. Little Terry W eaver, cousin of the bride from Medford. was flower girl. She wore a blue organdy dress with flower headband. Keith Kimmons served as best man and Edward Croucher, brother of the bride from Ash land, and Roy Johnson seated the guests. Large baskets of roses and ferns decorated the church and Mrs. D. Kimmons played the tra ditional wedding music. Following the ceremony a re ception was held at the church. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Croucher wore a pink dress with white carnation corsage. The bride is a graduate of Medford High school and Robert son's Business college. She is employed as a secretary for Cas cade Food products. The bride groom is a Crater High school graduate and is a millworker for Medford corporation. The newly wed couple will make their home at 825 West Thirteenth street, Medford. Major and Family Guests in Medford Major Raymond Proctor. Mrs. Proctor and their two daughters, Penny and Candy are spending several weeks with the major's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Proctor, 2540 Jacksonville high way. The major has been station ed at Lockburn Air Force base in Columbus. Ohio, but has been assisited to duty in Madrid Spain. The family will leave July 2 for Europe. They will remain for three years. Robert Bridge officiated at the double ring ceremony held Saturday, June 1, at eight o'clock in the eve ning. For her wedding the bride chose a white satin ballerina length dress and net veil be longing to her grandmother. Miss Alyce Crowley was maid of honor for her sister. She wore a frock of lavender nylon with white headdress and gloves and carried a bouquet of pale pink roses. Miss Dee Clark and iJiss Nancy Adams were brides maids. They wore aquamarine nylon frocks with white gloves and headdresses and carried bouquets of pink roses. Little Susan Sanford of . Med ford was flower girl. Candle lighters were Miss Roxanna Crowley, sister of the bride, and Lon Walters, brother of the bridegroom. Dick Sanford was best man and Gary West and Gary Hucn ers seated the guests. Miss Zeta Maddox played the traditional wedding music and Mrs. Lcroy Mauroni was soloist Following the wedding a re ception was held in the church reception room attended by 150 friends and relatives. Mrs. Ira Jackson, grandmother of the bride, cut and served the wed ding cake assisted by Mrs. M. Walters, grandmother of the bridegroom. Mrs. C. L. Simon son, aunt of the bride, poured the punch. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Crowley chose a powder blue linen sheath dress with matching duster and white ac- Hannafords Mark 53rd Anniversary Eagle Point Mr. and Mrs. James G. Hannaford celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary Monday in Eagle Point where they have lived for the past 36 years. The Hannafords were married June 17, 1904, in Car thage, Missouri, and came 'west to Washington in 1911 and to Oregon in 1912. In 1921 the cou ple moved to the Eagle Point i area where they made their home. Now, both 82 years of age, they have six living children; Phillip Hannaford and Mrs. Rudy Weidman of Eagle Point, Mrs. Millard Robertson of Shady Cove, Mrs. Lewis Robertson of prospect, Mrs. Charles Paige of Glendale, Ariz., and Leanard Lockhart of Olympia. Wash. They have 22 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. California Couple Visits in Medford Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Donwen, of Altodena, Calif., were guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Wilson ; last week. Mr. Downen is a j nephew of the Wilsons. During their visit in Medford. the first time in ten years the relatives had visited together, the Downens were entertained at a dinner party given at Gold j Hill by the C. Norman Gails, cousins. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Daniken of Greenville, 111. The bride was given in mar riage by Charles Bateman of Central Point. She wore a white ' lace over taffeta frock and car ried a bouquet of while gladi olus. Her fingertip length veil was held by a sequined crown. Mrs. Dan Basey of Ashland at tended her sister. She wore an orchid lace over taffeta frock and carried a white orchid. Robert Daniken served as best man for his brother while Floyd Wood and Everett Bennet seated the guests. Mrs. Shelley played the tra ditional wedding music and ac companied Mrs Jean Carother who sang. White gladiolus and ferns decorated the church for the wedding. Following the ceremony a re ception was held at the church. For her traveling attire the bride wore an orchid colored suit with matching hat and white accessories. Following a wedding trip to San Francisco, Calif., the couple will make thpir home at 331-2 West Second street, Med ford. The bridegroom attended Greenville High school, 111., and is a sawyer for Burrills Lumber company. Last month the bride was hon ored at a shower at the home of Miss Biliie Carter. A mock wed ding ceremony was held and a cake, baked by the mother of the honored guest, Mrs. Jean Barde, was served. Out of town guests who at tended included Mrs- John Dani ken of Greenville, 111., mother of the bridegroom-elect, Mrs. Dan Basey of Ashland, and Mrs. Rob ert Daniken of Central Point. Valley Herb Society To Meet at Nagels Rogue Valley Herb society will meet Tuesday, June 25. at the home of Mrs. Otto Nagel, Eagle Point, at 1:30 p.m. Members are asked to take herbs for arranacments and demonstration. Prize will be awarded for the most unusual herb corsage worn by a member. Roll call response will be "my tavorite herb for use in arrangements." Root, and Mr. Root. Jacksonville highway. Mrs. Wunderlich is a concert pianist and Thursday evening the Roots were hosts for a party in her honor, inviting a group of music loving friends.
