Quarter-inch good one side in dex grade plywood fell off to STO a thousand from S72. Last winter the price dropped to S6S and plants shut down tempor arily. The drop was reported by an official of the Simpson company which has six plants in Oregon, Washington and California. Paul Karstedt, administrative assistant for the Oregon branch, said, "some people think it's be cause of tight money or that there simply is no demand for building homes . . . (international) Reporter Exposes Jury To Measles Seattle up Something besides Dave Beck's legal ma neuvers might cause a delay In investigations by the King County Grand Jury. A reported Monday exposed the jury, the prosecutor and his legal staff and a dozen or so Se attle newsmen to the measles. Barney Harvey, reporter for the Seattle Times, testified he fore the jury for about 10 min utes. When he came out of the jury room he checked with county health department offi cials about his flushed face and ill feeling. They told him he had measles. Before he testified.
