Reunion Dinner Held at Watsons Mnnberi of Surprise Sunday Srbonl class of First Methodist chur-h held their annual re union Saturday evening, June A turkey dinner was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Watson. Ruhl Way. The Cats, which has been gathering j annually for nearly 30 years, had 14 members present, inclu ding the teacher, Mrs. H. A. Canaday from Roseburg. Othera attending were Mr. and Mrs. Hoy Gienger. Chilo quio. Ore., Mrs. Olive Puhman, Sutherlin, Ore., and Mrs. Glenn Hale, of Eagle Point, Mr. and Mrs. George Rusel, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hukill, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. George Wataon, all Medford. Letters were read from Mr. and Mr. Austin Raymond of EI Cajon, California and Mr. and Mr. Howard Raymond of Patrick Creek. Calif, who were unable to attend. V a r I o u members brought pictures of previous gatherings which proved very interesting. To close the evening, a trip was made at the invitation of the Hales to see their new home in Eagle Point. The bride is the former Miss Beverly Ann Mich aud, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Michaud of Laramie. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernet Kennedy, 113 Valley View drive, Medford. The wedding was held at St Laurence O'Toole's Catholic- church with the Rev. John Mc Devitt officiating at the double ring ceremony held at ten o'clock in the morning. For her wedding the bride wore a floor length gown of im ported French Rosepointe lace and pleated tulle over taffeta. Her fingertip length veil was held by a small lace hat and she carried a cascade bouquet of yellow roses. Miss Gloria Aegerter of Engle wood. Colo., was maid of honor and Miss Glenda Michaud and Miss Linda Woody were brides maids. They wore ballerina length growns of iridescent taf feta with short veils and carried colonial bouquets of pink carna tions. The wedding gown as well as the dresses worn by the attend ants were designed and made by Mrs. Michaud, mother of the bride. Jim Hicks served as best man while Ron Mahan, William Hern don, Kenneth Brownfield and Fred Parker ushered. Ring bear er was little John Mannon. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Michaud chose a beige lace dress with matching accessories and yellow orchid corsage. Mrs. Kennedy wore a rose lace dress with white accessories and whits orchid corsage. Following the ceremony a re ception was held at the Connor hotel. Miss Dona Williams and Mrs. Ray Piper cut and served the tiered wedding cake. Miss Mary Pond and Miss Pat Garison poured the punch while Miss Kay Kepler was in charge of the guest book. The bride is a graduate of Laramie High school and attend ed the University of Wyoming. The bridegroom attended Med ford High school and is a student at the University of Wyoming. Whelden, 336 South Riverside avenue. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emit Ross, Route 2, Central Point. The Rev. William C. Piper of the First Christian church officiated for the single-ring rites, held at 8 o'clock in the evening. About 20 guests attend ed. The bride wore a gown of white taffeta and nylon net and her flowers were pink roses and orange blossoms. She was attend ed by Mrs. Sherman Poole, Pros pect, and Mr. Poole was best man for the bridegroom. Mr. and Mrs. Whelden were hosts for the reception which followed the ceremony. The rooms were decorated with roses and orange blossoms, and can delabra held lighted tapers. The newlyweds spent the weekend at California-on-the-Rogue. and will make their home in Medford. The bride was grad uated from Crater High school with the class of 1956. Mr. Kip fer, who came to Medford from Ft. Worth, Tex., is a veterinarian. Miss Guetzlaff Wins Scholarship Miss Mary Jane Guetzlaff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theo. J. Guetzlaff, 4195 Rachel way, Medford, has been awarded the annual scholarship given by Rogue River chapter, National Secretaries association (Interna ional). The scholarship is for S159 which covers tuition in the Secretarial Science department of Southern Oregon college, Ash land. Miss Guetzlaff, member of this year's graduating class of Med ford Senior High school, as a commercial major, will attend Southern Oregon college this fall. Miss Guetzlaff was treas urer of the Future Business Leaders of America club; a three year member of Girls' league: a three-year member of the Span ish club; and a three-year mem ber of Torch Honor society. She is a member of Grace Lutheran church, Ashland. bride chose a navy blue silk and cotton sheath dress with matching bolero jacket and white accessories. Out of town guests at the wed ding included I. W. Baker, grand father of the bridegroom from North Platte, Nebr., and Mr. and Mrs. William Hollingworth, Portland, Ore. Minn., were visitors last week end in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lawrence, 1422 Eu clid avenue, Medford. Mr. and Mrs. Hiltunen lived at the Lawrence home in 1943 and 1944 while Mr. Hiltunen was training at Camp White This is their first trip west since that time. They traveled here by way of Bismark, N.D., Yellowstone National park, Butte, Mont., and Seattle. They are returning to Minnesota by the way of Cali fornia, where they will visit the Lawrence's daughters and sons-in-law, Lt. Comdr. and Mrs. Wal lace Ludwig in San Francisco and Mr. and Mrs. Terry Rose, Chico. MRS.
