These parents are so overpro- ective that they leaped at the 'dea of marriage the moment ' thev saw a cleam in a vounu 1 man's eye. They pushed things 1 larther than these young people out about it. He, in return, must defend himself by telling them he isn't engaged yet and they don't know what to do. All of these interesting things are goina on above Caroline's head without her having any thing to say or do about it.
