Mrs. Corcom was born May
12. 1877. in Phoenix. Mich. She

Methodist church and was active
in church affairs. She had made
her home in Jacksonville and
Ashland for many years before
moving to Corvallis.

serving on the Ball jury because
they "ran out" of qualified jur
ors. Ball is on trial for his life in
the shooting of his wife, Fran
cis, 35, in llieir Chiloquin homp
April 4. Ball was accused of
shooting her five times with 3
.22 caliber target pistol.
