Brink, senior chaplain of air craft carrier USS Randolph, netted contributions of 87,000 Italian lira, 28,000 French francs and considerable Turkish lire and Greek drachmas (about $300) from men of the Randolph prior to the return of the ship from the Mediterranean to the United States, recently. The collection was of "little bits" of foreign currency remaining in possession of men of the Randolph before the ship left the Mediterranean. rridar. Dr. David Zinke,- a mission ary of the Seventh-day Adven tist church, used to spend days on horseback in t the rugged' mountain regions' of Nuevo Leon, Mexico, in an effort to reach the sick. Many times he arrived too late. Today he cov ers thousands of miles each month by plane. The doctor's "flying clinic," a Cessna 180, has become a familiar sight to the isolated natives, and the sick line up to meet him long before his plane's wheels touch the ground of native-built runways. The clinic if a part , of the Seventh-day Ad ventist Montemorelos hospital, supported by Adventist churches throughout North America. Zinke, a graduate of the church's College of Medical Evangelists in Loma Linda, Calif., interned with the U.S. Public rlealtlr Service. He left a private practice in central California to accept mission service in Mexico. The Christian Reformed church was founded in the Unit ed States by a group of Dutch people. They broke away from the Dutch Reformed church but continued to follow the teach ings of John Calvin.
