Pathfinders Plaque, Merit Letter Voted by Committee A plaque and "certificate of merit" letter to go to deserving organizations was approved by the Jackson county committee of the National Employ the Physically Handicapped commit tee at a meeting last night. The plaque .and letter will go to organizations and individuals who go "beyond the call of duty" in employing or assisting in employing, the physically handicapped. A plan was discussed to select ar. "employer or organization of the month" each month to re ceive the committee's plaque. The committee voted to con tact Medford city officials re garding the possibility of em ploying a handicapped person to check parking meters, thus relieving a patrolman for other duties, or possibly for other work in the city administration. If the plan is feasible.
