Bowen of Gold Hill, Ore. ThS uble-ring ceremony took piace Thursday, Jrehruary 21, in th post chapel with Major H. C Hand, post chaplain, officiating The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank McKinney, Deming, Nil. For the ceremony the bride wore a frock of pink Qiylon with black accessories and carried a white Bible. rWiss Penny Jones was maid of honor and Pfc. Freddie Haf licker was best man. O The bride, a graduate of Dem ing High school, is employed in the systems test division of the Mistletoe Club Plans Luncheon Wednesday Mistletoe club will meet Wed nesday, February 27, at the home of Mrs. Lewis Bashaw, 18 Al mond street, at 10 a.m. A cover ed dish luncheon will be served at noon with a business meeting afterwards. Those attending are asked to take thimbles and scis sors and own table service. As sisting Mrs. Bashaw are Mrs. Randy Hugdahl and Mrs. David Draysher. ; Proving ground. The bride groom, assigned to duty at the Proving ground, is a specialist third class in the United States Air Force. The newlyweds will reside in Las Cruces for the time being and soon will depart for Fort Eustis, Va., where the bridegroom is being transferred. Butte Falls Miss Judith Marlene Casey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Casey, Butte Falls, became the bride of Keith Allen Cooley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Royce Cooley.. Butte Falls, in a ceremony held Sunday, February 10, in the Butte Falls Community Bible church. The Rev. Howard Simmonds officiated at the double ring rites held at four o'clock in the after noon and attended by 150 friends and relatives. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white lace and satin. It was fash ioned with fitted lace bodice with lace apron over the floor, length full satin skirt. Her veil was fingertip length and she carried a bouquet of white rose buds, carnations, and stephano- tis. Miss Myrtle Rambo was maid of honor and bridesmatrons were Mrs. Jerry Sparling and Mrs. William Hartlerode Jr. They wore dresses in pastel shades and carried white carnations. Miss Judith Trivelpiece was can dlelighter. Little Carrie Backlund was flower girl and Russell Waldron, cousin of the bridegroom, was ring bearer. Wayne Casey, brother of the bride, was best man while Rich ard Lee Jolliffee and Dwight L. Fredenburg seated the guests. John Lusk played the tradi tional organ wedding music and John Drysdale was soloist. White chrysanthemums and stock dec orated the church. Following the wedding a re ception was held at the home of the bride's parents. Pink and white carnations and fern with white candles decorated the rooms for the reception and a handmade table cloth covered the bride's table. Mrs. Richard Lee Jolliffee was in charge of the guest book. For her traveling attire the bride wore a geranium colored costume with gray accessories. After a wedding trip to Reno, Nevada, the bridegroom will re turn to San Diego, Calif, where he is stationed with the United States Navy. The bride will make her home with her parents. The bride attended Butte Falls schools and is employed by Har ry and David, Bear Creek orch ards. The bridegroom was grad uated from Naches, Wash. . They will ling doorbells beginning at 1 p.m. and will carry envelopes in which the contributions are to be placed. If house holders are not at home, envelopes will be left. Pythian Sisters discussed fund raising projects at, a meeting Tuesday evening at the Pythian building. The Sisters planned a smorgasbord luncheon March 13, to be followed by a card party.
