Willard, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Willard, Provo, Utah, in a ceremony held Saturday, January 26, at the ValleyoView Seventh Day 'Ad ventist church. Elder Floyd Bressee officiated at the 7:30 o'clock ceremony at- tended by 250 relatives and friends. Soloists were Jim Kempster and Mrs. Harvard Bressee. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a white satin gown fashioned with fit ted bodice. Her bouquet was of baby pink roses with stephan otis and ivy. Mrs. Eugene Willard, sister- Jfillard-Chamberlm Rites o Zf in -Adventist Church in-law of the bridegroom, was honor attendant. She wore a ballerina length dress of blue taffeta with white accessories O and pink net headband. Miss Norma Jean Brainard and Miss Gayle Wheeler were brides maids. They were dressed in pink taffeta gowns with white accessories with blue net head bands. Miss Ruth Walker and Leonard Yost were candlelight ers. Miss Walker waP dressed as the bridesmaids. Set By Beta Sigma Phi Chapter One. of the first social events to welcome spring this year will be the annual benefit card party and fashion show sponsored by Alpha Rho chapter of Beta Sig ma Phi. It will be held at Rogue Valley Country club on Mon day, February 11, with luncheon to be served at 12 noon. Decor ations will be in a Valentine theme. During the luncheon a style show will feature fashions from Rath's, Burelson's and Jean Hart's stores. This year mature fashions will also be shown. And as an added feature, there will PEO Sisterhood Marks Founding With Luncheon Founders' day of the PEO sis terhood was celebrated with a luncheon Saturday, January 26, t the Rogue Valley Country club. Tables were attractively decorated with acacia, greenery, and yellow candles, with place cards also in the color scheme. The four Medford chapters were represented, with the pro gram in charge of Mrs. Fletcher Fish of Chapter BE. The meet ing began with an invocation offered by Mrs. Allan Perry. The chairman introduced Mrs. E. A. Moore, the organizer of Medford PEO in 1922. who gave interesting sidelights on the beginning of Chapter AA. The members of the different chapters were introduced by their presidents, and short speecha were made by unaffiliat ed members. Musical numbers were pre sented. Mra. DeVere Taylor gave piano selection an Mrs. Jack Harrie sang, accompanied by Mra. Taylor. He ia now in his second year majoring in engi neering. Ldy ElbPian Danct Saturday It isn't Leap Year, but Lady Elks are giving a dance Saturday February 9 in the upper hall of the Elks club. Hours will be from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.' The Starlighters from Klamath Falls will provide the music. This is a return engagement for this band, and many who attend ed the first dance my the band plays the best swing music in southern Oregon. Casualness is the theme for the evening, and "loud shirts and bright skirts" are in order. All Elks and their guests are invited. Refreshments will be served. On the committee are Mes dames Frank Little, chairman, John Henson, Lew Miles, Larry Rose, Thomas Anderson, Robert Reynolds and Eugene Peterson.
