TOUH MIDTORD (ORZCOK) MAIL TRIBUNE Changing Times Bring New Course Rochester, Jf. Y. CU.R) The University of Rochester has ad ded a new course to its curricu lum in tune with the changing times. In response to area and na tional needs, the Institution will offer a four-year undergraduate course in electrical engineering beginning with the 1937 fall se mester. New students entering the pro gram will have the option of tak ing a four-year" course leading to a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering, or a five year course leading simultan eously to both a B.S. and a bach elor of arts degree. President Dr. Cornelia W. De Kiewiet said the new coux se will atrengthen the teaching and re search of other science depart ments. He pointed out the widen ing use of automatic controls and electrical measuring techniques greatly have increased the diffi culty of operating research pro grams in engineering or physical science without the aid of elec trical engineers. CALLED THE FLIP Fairfield, Conn. U.P) State Policeman George Raiselis called the "turn" while chasing a stolen car. In his radio report relating the chase he said: "He'll turn over before we catch him." A few minutes later Raiselis re ported, "He flipped." The three boys inside were escapees from the Meriden School for Boys. They weren't hurt. RH anrf T'. Clamifierf Ads Th.
