Judge Minton suspended the sentence with the hope that "you can go another 78 years before you get arrested again. Pete is a boy, 15, and Betsy is a horse of about the same age. The two got in line at the drive-in window built for the convenience of motorists. Harold Thomas Haberman, known as Pete, explained that he deposited two or three dol lars a week, "Depends on how much I can spare." . He said he withdraws his money from time to time to buy hay and feed for his brown and white horse. Pete lives with his father and has a part-time job in a restau rant. His mother died four years ago.
