Modified ' ' The PCC earlier in the year placed all sports at USC on pro bation for , two years, but later modified lis ruling to apply to only -footlsll. But the NCAA not only upheld the PCC ruling but placed in addition all sports at USC cm probation f or one year. The faculty .representatives, however, made no mention of the UCLt case. Both USC and UCLA paid heavy fines and had players pOaeed on probation for exceeding the' limit for aid to athletes. Ragsdale, Medford, has been named president-elect of the Oregon Association for Health, Physical Education and Recreation. He will assume the post of president in December 1957.
