Lodge Announces Coming Meetings Pythian club will meet Tues day, November 13 at 8 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Harry Bryant, 1312 Reddy avenue, with Mrs. Roy Jackson assisting. Mrs. Bryant will have the gifts on display that she received while she served as grand chief of Oregon. Pythian Sisters met last Tuesday evening for a short business meeting. The nominat ing committee, Mrs. Polly Of futt, Mrs. Harry Bryant, Mrs. Don Anderson, Mrs. Carl Ficht ner and Mrs. W. L. Michael, was appointed. The next meeting, November 20, will be roll call night, with reobligation and initiation also being held. The men will be in charge .of the refreshments. On the committee will be Harry Barneburg, Leroy Cline. Harry Bryant, John Russell. Joe Fritsch, Carl Fichtner, W. L. Walden, George Bryant and Walter Cummings. Mrs. Mildred Tolle, most ex cellent chief, has issued a spe cial invitation for Ed Bostwick, chancellor commander, to at tend this meeting The birthday party will be the first meeting in December. Past Chiefs' club of Pythian Sisters met last Wednesday at the home of Mrs. W. L. Walden for a covered dish luncheon. Four of the meetings will feature Don Berry, county agent in horticulture, who will speak on the control of household pests. Reese Creek Extension unit will meet Tuesday, November 13, at the home of Mrs. Ben Gardener who lives on the road behind Hal's market. Mrs. J. W. Martinson will be co-hostess. A lesson on the making of sofa cushions will be presented by Mrs. Ronald Nelson and Mrs. Ralph Lacy. Those attending are asked to take their own table service. Prospect Home Extension unit will hold a meeting Wednesday. November 14. at 1:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Clarence Hedg peth. Mr. Berry will speak. All are invited to attend and reminded that it isn't too late to join the workshop for making sofa pillows. Those attending are asked to bring their own table service and a potluck dish. Child care will be provided free of charge at the Community club. Mr. Berry will also speak for the Oak Grove Extension unit Tuesday, November 13. at the home of Mrs. Henry Zacharisen. 725 Keeneway drive, at 10:30 a.m. Members are asked to bring problems on pest control to the meeting. The committee serving lunch eon will be Mrs. V.. A. Turpin. Mrs. Roy Elmgren, and Mrs. S. B. Sandberg. The Medford unit will meet in the courthouse at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, November 14, in stead of the usual hour to hear Mr. Berry talk. Any insect speci mens that members are unable to identify may be brought to the meeting. Luncheon will be served for a small charge. Those attending Chapter to Meet At Drummond Home Chapter AA of the PEO sister hood will hold the first meeting of November at the home of Mrs. C. I. Drummond, Ross lane. November 14.
