The Applegate farmerettes
have a trick that saves money
on their household budget. When
eggs are plentiful, Mrs. Joe Far
land, an Applegate farmerette,
breaks them into a container
and freezes them for future use.
When baking a cake that re
quires one egg, Mrs. Farrand
merely scoops out one table
spoon of her frozen eggs and
adds it to the batter. In this
way, when egg prices are high,
she is saving money.
