TRYING TO BURROW INTO THIRD It looks like Milwaukee Braves' second base man Danny O'Connell is trying to reach third base on an underground route. He is tagged out as he slides for the base by the Cards' Bobby Morgan in the fifth inning in St. Louis. O'Connell attempted to take the base when Catcher Ray Katt momen tarily let a pitch get by him but recovered in time to throw for the putout. Umpire Artie Gore is really on top of the play. The Cards won, 6-2.
