CuIIop-Jett Rites Held In Ashland Ashland Miss Barbara Joan Jett became the bride of Wood row Duane Cullop in a cere mony July 23 at 8 p.m. at the Ashland First Methodist church. The Rev. Ross Knotts officiated at the double ring ceremony that was held before 70 guests. Miss Jett is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond E. Jett, 48 Morse avenue, Ashland. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow J. , Cullop, 108 Bush street, Ashland. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a chantilly lace gown with matching bolero. Her fingertip illusion veil fell from a tiara of seed pearls and she carried a cross shaped bou quet of pink sweetheart roses. Mrs. Dale Taylor was matron ef honor. She wore a waltz length dress of pale yellow dot ted Swiss with pink carnation corsage. Miss Deanna Cullop, sister of the bridegroom, served as bridesmaid. Her dress was identical to Mrs. Taylor's in pale pink and her floral accent was yellow. George R. Donnelly was best man. Bob Wright and Bill Beb- ber ushered. The candlelight wedding was performed before an altar banked with pink and white gladiolus and ferns. Richard Lamb, organist, played the wed ding music and accompanied Miss Vonnie Stimson who sang. Following the ceremony a re ception was held in. the fireside room at the church. Cake and punch were served by Mrs. Beu lah Ulstad, Mrs. Arthur Hodgen aunts of the bride, and Mrs. Don Cullop, aunt of the bridegroom. Miss Sue Eudey was in charge of the guest book while Mrs. Jim Gandee and Mrs. Charles Mitchell were at the gift table. After a wedding trip to the Oregon coast, the couple will make their home in Jackson ville, Fla., where the bride groom is stationed with the Ma rine Corps. For her traveling at tire the bride wore a light blue linen suit with white accesso ries. The couple attended Ashland High school. Former Resident Visits in Medford Mrs. Conrad Wessella has re turned to her home in Portland after spending a few days in Medford as a guest of Mrs. B. C. Tennant, 325 East Jackson street. The Wessellas formerly lived in Medford. Mr. Wessella, with the United States Forest service, is being transferred to Washington, D.C., and the couple will leave later this summer for the eastern city. Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Duana Cullop (Classic Studios) Miss Carol Van Ausdall (Classic Studios) Couple to Wed Mr. and Mrs. Lee Van Ausdall, 338 Fairmount street, announce the engagement of their daugh ter, Carol Jean, to Richard Alan Loros, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mil ton A. Loros, 1862 Delta Waters road, Medford. Miss Van Ausdall was gradu ated from Medford High school in 1953 and has been employed by the Credit Bureau of Med ford Inc. for the past four years. Her fiance graduated from Med ford High school in 1950 and is employed by the firm of Pack age Delivery. A late fall wedding is being planned. Outdoor Evening Planned by Group An outdoor evening is planned for the next meeting of Med ford Jaycettes Wednesday, Au gust IS. Members are asked to wear play clothes and come pre pared for a recipe exchange. - A car caravan will meet at Norton's Grocery, Phoenix, at 7:45 p.m. and travel to the Rob ert Foster home, Rt. 3, Box 238A, Phoenix. Couple Wed Last Saturday; To Live in Hawaiian Islands A ceremony at First Presby terian church Saturday, August 4, wedded Miss Eleanor Ruth Trost to Richard C. McDonald, a sergeant in the United States Marine corps. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Trost, 2922 South Pacific high way and the bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. McDon ald, Pueblo, Colo. About 50 guests were present for the double-ring rites, read by the Rev. 'John Reynolds. The church decorations were of white gladiolus and white stock. A reception fallowed at the Trost home, and later the newly weds left for Lake Tahoe where they spent a honeymoon. The couple will live in the Hawaiian islands where the bridegroom has been assigned to duty. The bride's gown was of lace and net fashioned with full skirt, and close fitting bodice with oval neckline. She carried a white orchid and stephanotis. Miss Alice Hodgson of Menlo Park, Calif., was honor attend ant and bridesmaids were Miss Dorothy Naughten, Redwood City, Calif.i and Miss Susan Meerly, a cousin of the bride from Menlo Park. Miss Hodgson wore a gown of cystalette, old rose in color, and carried pink asters. The two bridesmaids' dresses were ice blue crystalette and their flow ers were asters. Mr. Trost gave his daughter in marriage, and Dieter Trost, brother of the bride, was best man. Richard Meerley, Menlo Park, and Martin Heitkamp. Medford, cousins of the bride, were ushers. William Wilson was at the or gan, and Mrs. Tom E. Popham sane. For the reception Mrs. Peter Auer, Eagle Point, cut the wed ding cake and Miss Sharon O'Brien took charge of the guest book. Mrs. Martin Heitkamp and Mrs. Otto Meerly, the latter of Menlo Park, arranged the wed ding flowers. Both are aunts of the bride. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Trost wore an ensemble of turquoise blue with white or chids. Here for the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Meerly, Mr. and Mrs. Frederic W. Junge. uncle and aunt of the bride, Buffalo, N.Y.; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Leever, Phoenix. Ariz.: Mr. and Mrs. Louis Semsy, Menlo Park; Mr. and Mrs. Hodgson, Redwood City, Calif.; Mrs. Dorothy Spam bauer, Palo Alto, Calif. The bride was graduated from Phoenix High school and attend ed College of San Mateo in Cali fornia. The bridegroom attend ed Central High school in Pueblo.
