New Yellow Bulbs
Good for Outdoors
If you're bothered by night
insects, try using the new yellow
enameled bulbs for outdoor light
ing. These new bulbs are ideal
for porches over picnic tables,
doorways and gardens, where
you want to discourage night
flying insects.
There's no magic in the yel
low bulb, but according to Gen
eral Electric lighting specialists
insect pests are less attracted to
a yellow lamp thfan to a white
bulb of equal wattage. Available
in both 60 and 100-watt sizes,
the bulbs have a glass coating
which is "fixed" on the bulb so
it won't wear or wash off.
