Murder at Tijuana

authorities as a known gunman,
today was held for the assassina
tion of local newspaperman

Barbara Jean Connelly, 24. of
Beaverton, Ore., was fatally in
jured and her son. Steven Mitch
ell Connelly. 2, suffered a minor
head bruise csterday when
their car overturned on U. S.
Highway 35. 70 miles northwest
of here.
Officers said Mrs Connelly
was dead on arrival at Southern
Nevada Memorial hospital. The,
boy was admitted to the hospital
for observation and treatment.
