the home of his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. John Anhorn, Beall lane.
Mr. and Mrs. Anhorn were mar
ried June 3 at Coeur d'Alene,
Ida. Mrs. Anhorn is the former
LaVerne Rcbbe. daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. C. E. Piebbe, Everett,
Wash. Mr. Anhorn is an airman
first-class in the United States;
Air Force.
Serving the tiered cake was
Mrs. Harold Holloway, Medford
and Mrs. Melvin Anhorn. Med
ford. presided at the punch bowl.
Calling during the afternoon
were friends and relatives. The
house was decorated with gladioli.

A chapter of Thcla Rho girls
is being re-organized here by

of preliminary meetings have
been held and another is set for
Mondav. July 30. at 8 p.m. in
Medford IOOF hall.
Tne organization is open to
all girls, and interested girls
or their mothers may contact
either Mrs. Jesse Thomasson or
Mrs. Riley Applegate. Officers
will be elected at Monday's
meeting and plans made for in
stitution of the charter August

The bride wore a navy blue
afternoon dress with white trim
and blue accessories. Mrs.
Swartz. who attended her sister,
was dressed in white.

The bridegroom, a graduate
of the Mapleton High school in
Pennsylvania, served in the Unit
ed Slates Army for more than
three years and then joined the
United States Air Force. He was
stationed in Liverpool for a time,
i and met his bride in that city.
