The warden told the inmates "I'm going to move out of here. There's no question about it." The mreting was called after the warden gave in to many of the prisoner-;' demands, without pacifying them. No Violence The disturbance, which was without violence began at 7:45 o'clock Friday night when the inmates refused to return to their cells from the prison rec reation yard until they could talk with newsmen. The warden complied with their wishes and renorters were summoned. The inmates next chanted a . demand for release of a 30-year i prisoner from an isolation cell. Leroy Nash was removed from the so-called "hole" and Cum mings promised not 1o resort to solitary confinement anymore, pending settlement of the dis pute. The warden then signed a statement, promising that the in mates' complaints will be pre sented to the prison board of directors and to state legislators. This still failed to pacify most of the prisoners so the warden climbed a wall and pleaded with i for 20 minutes. They grad ually Irirkled back to their cells ! and the disturbance was over by I 2 a m. I The warden said, "I've been I in this game long enough to; know when I'm licked." Each time it was a false alarm. A bit of detective work led to the culprit, a six-year-old kinder garten pupil. She said she w anted to see what would happen. There are two shows scheduled daily, starting at 2:30 and 8 p.m. Other animal acts will include performances by Siamese elephants, trained Dressage horses, llamas, goals, pigs and bareback riding dogs. Captain Eddy Khun will perform in a special steel arena with a mixture of Nubian lions, panthers and bears. President of Peru Officially in Office Lima. Peru U.P' Dr. Manuel Prado became president of Peru Saturday as the result of this nation's first free election in 11 years. Prado succeeds Manuel A. Odria. who became president after leading a successful mili tary roup against the govern ment in 194R. Prado was elected to office June 17. The last previous free elections in Peru were held in 1945. The four -dav inauguration program, coinciding with Peru's independence celebration, was scheduled to open Saturday aft ernoon when diplomatic mis sions from 40 countries present their credentials. U.S. Secretary of State John Foster Dulles flew to Lima from ihe recent American presidents' conference in Panama to attend the inauguration. He interrupt ed his diplomatic schedule Fri day to confer with Washington by telephone for several hours in connection with Egypt's seiz ure of ihe Suez Canal. Dulles cancelled a sightseeing tour arranged for him by the Peruvian government. He was scheduled to leave Lima for Washington Sunday night.
