Seven mem bers of the newly authorized Ladina Clover Commission were named by Gov. Elmo Smith this week. Willis Freeman of Madras and R. Wallace Rice of Grants Pass were appointed as members rep resenting handlers. Members representing growers were: J. A. Macy, K. A. Harris and W. Roy Stevenson of Madras; Mel vin Waldemar of Culver; and Burle Burreson of Gold Hill. The commission was proposed earlier this year by the Jefferson Seed Growers association of Ma- riras. It will be officially organ ized Aug. 3 at a Madras meeting. More than 3' 2 million cars and tinn.linu trucks wind up in the junkyard each year.
