Benton county employee, was killed near here yesterday when a gravel truck backed across him while he was work ing on a highway project. Driver of the truck. Lloyd Tracewell, 37, of Corvallis. told officers he was spreading loose gravel on a newly oiled county road about six miles southwest of here at the time of the acci dent. He said small amount of gravel remained in the truck and he started to back up to finish emptying the load.
