Medford Uni'ed Press Full Leased Wire Second Section Jackson County 4-H Club Members Vie For Honors at Sis-Q Prefair in Ashland Jackson county 4-H members competed lor honors in several of the 14 contests of the Sis-Q 4-H prefair held at Bellvue grange in Ashland Thursday. Roxie Sisemore and Nylia Cooper of the Sis-Q club were first in livestock and home eco nomics judging. Carolyn Tiegs won first in poultry judging and Linda Sommer did the same in rabbit judging. Both girls are members of Sis-Q 4-H club. Fred Jossy of the Antelope forestry club tied with John James of the Sis-Q forestry club for first place in forestry iden tification. Grove. 301 North Peach st., secretary to the district attorney, returned to Medford Saturday from Menlo Park. Calif., where she was call ed by the death of her brother-in-law, Frank J. Andrews. Mrs. Andrews, Mrs. Grove's sister, returned with her and will make her residence with her. Rex Oberg, Menlo Park, accompanied the pair home and returned Monday to the bay re gion by United Air Lines plane. During his stay in Medford. Oberg, who is connected fith the San Francisco police depart ment, visited the county court house and was shown the county law enforcement facilities by Sheriff Howard Gault. Three People Injured In Two-Car Collision Three people were released after treatment yesterday at Sacred Heart hospital, where they were taken by Medford Ambulance service following a two-car collision at 10:05 a.m. at the intersection of Eighth St. and Holly st. Injured were Stephen Wesley Lewis, 2150 Barnett rd.. Med ford. and Madeline VanDe Weghe. Hornbrook, Calif. The two boys were passengers in a car operated by their moth er. Viva Maye Lewis, and Mrs. VanDeWeghe was a passenger in a car operated by Mrs. Agnes N. Clark, Hornbrook, Calif. Medford police said neither driver wps injured. No citations were issued.
