C.dJ.R) Police held today an attractive woman who s e c r e t ly set two fires aboard an airliner flying to Miami with 52 unsuspecting pas sengers. Stewardess Helen Rosenthal and Co-Pilot J. D. Willoughby quickly snuffed out the smouldering- fires before any damage was done to the Eastern Airlines Super Constellation Thursday. Police Chief Frank Littlejohn said the woman. Friday, June 21, 1958 MEDFORD (OREGON) MAIL TRIBUNE FIVE Pittsburgh Paper Blasts Threatened Pittsburgh (U.R) Police searched today for a man bear ing a grudge against Pittsburgh newpapers. The man telephoned the Post Gazette Thursday and warned he had planted a bomb in the building, the second such threat to a city newspaper within three days. The pygmy marmoset 'of South America's Amazonia is the Western Hemisphere's small est member of the monkey fam ily. Full-grown specimens weigh only three to five ounces. A search by police and fire men failed to uncover a bomb and the newspaper's executive labelled the threat a "hoax." The Pittsburgh Sun-Telegraph received a similar call Tuesday, evacuated its building and no tified police. No trace of a bomb was found. The Post-Gazette Informed Its employes of the threat and told them they could leave the build ing if they wanted to. Only, about 30 women employees left. Guy V. Miller, assistant city editor, received the call at 1:55 p.m. from a man who said he planted the bomb to explode at 3:15 p.m. When Miller stalled so tiia call could be traced, the man snapped: "Don't get smart.
