has just recovered from a severe
heart attack suffered last winter
in El Monte, Calif., now resides
in Live Oak, Calif.

spending a week in San Fran
cisco, visiting and shopping.

the Mothers day weekend with

their home for Mrs. Kell's moth
er, Mrs. William Force. Also
present were Mr. and Mrs. Arty
Laws and children, Ronnie and
Elizabeth, of Rogue River, Mr.
and Mrs. Al Fink of Gold Hill,
Mr., and Mrs. Lester Parker and
Linda, Don Parker, and Shirley
and Billy Kell. .
Charles Fehely- of Yreka,
Calif., is due here Friday for his
yearly pilgrimage to clean up
the graves of his pioneer rela
tives. Fehely is now 87, a stud
ent of natural, phenomena and
an ex-miner. He will spend a few
days in the home of the Frank
Lockwoods before starting his
work in Jacksonville.
Boy Scouts are all being alert
ed to remember their Camp-o-Ree
Scouting trip which is to be
next week. They will be told
more details ' when ' the troop
makes their weekly trip to the
YMCA for their swimming les
sons in Medford.

was well represented in Grants
Pass on Monday at the Grants
Pass chapter's friendship night. .

spent the week end in Roseburg
visiting relatives.

husband in Los Angeles where
he is now employed in a saw
mill and is treating the wood for
termites.
