games, with Mrs. Roy Pruitt in
charge of the refreshments. She

Junior Club Plans
Matting on Saturday
Junior Degree of Honor club
will meet Saturday, May 12, in
Lincoln school gymnasium from
10 a.m. to 12 noon. Mothers' day
will be observed, and members
are asked to bring their mothers
as guests, as well as friends.
Mrs. H. G. Wilson, director of
the elub, will report on the De
gree of Honor convention held
in Portland in April which she
attended.

Twenty-one leaders from the
Girl Scout Rogue Valley Area
council participated in the an
nual troop camp training course
held recently at Grayback for
est camp.
The training course was con
ducted by Miss Mary Aldrich,
executive director. Mrs. Ruth
Moulton, area training chairman
and Mrs. William Baker, Grants
Pass, district training chairman.
Those attending and who are
now qualified to take scouts on
outings are Mrs. Pete Zimmer
man, Jacksonville; Mrs. W. E.
Acord, Mrs. Scott Ellis, Mrs.
Maurice Ritchey, Mrs. H. J. Mc
Cary, Mrs. George Lewis, Mrs.
Joe McDuffy and Mrs. Richard

ing, study of outdoor badge re
quirements, health and safety
standards and outdoor cookery.

show which will be held Satur
day, May 12 from 12 noon until
8 p.m. in the Hedrick Junior
High school building.
The theme of the show, moth
er nature's flower basket will
be used for the tea table arrange
ments which will be under the

ular selections, and solos with

For Electa Club
Electa Social club will meet
at the home of Mrs. Etta Pryor,
33 Black Oak drive, Friday,
May .11, at 12 o'clock for a
picnic.
Mrs. Pryor is leaving Medford
soon to reside at Santa Barbara,
Calif.
Members are asked to take
table service, a salad or sand
wiches. If the weather is not
fair, the picnic will be held
indoors.

To Meet Tonight
Gold Hill New officers will
be installed at a meeting of Gold
Hill Parent-Teacher association
set for tonight at 8 o'clock in the
school gymnasium.
Sewing classes will present a
fashion show and reports of the
State convention will be given.
-This will be the last meeting
of this season for the group.
Refreshments will be served
by mothers of children in the
eighth grade.
