Around Hollywood Hollywood (U.R) Liberace fans may not recover from this, but the pretty-toothed pianist is waving fare w e 1 1 to the television ser ies that made him a living room idol. The gracious musician has played his last "Blue Dan ube" by that Aline Mosby candleabra for his filmed series that brought sighs from fans and cries of anguish from music critics back in 1952. He also is temporarily out of movies because, "I didn't make enough money to keep me in candles" from his first movie, "Sincerely Yours." But Liberace has grander plans: A lavish Las Ve gas night club act,- a dramatic show and "spectaculars" on tel evision, a Mozart concerto in the Hollywood Bowl and a foreign tour. Importance Weighed "Everything I do from now on will be important," the new Liberace told me over lunch at the Brown Derby. "My agreement was to make 117 TV films and I have made them so the series is completed," he explained. "We just filmed the last 39 that will run next season. "When I started the series I always planned to do something different after it was finished. My TV series was an important chapter in my life but just a chapter. , "I've had a taste of so many wonderful things and I'm fired with ambition to do more. I never allow myself to get self satisfied." New Act Slated Liberace's new act, opening April 24 at the Riviera in Las Vegas, will feature Vampira, a local TV glamour ghoul. Liber ace will be regressed a La Bridey Murphy to portray Johann Strauss and a court Jester. "I hope to do TV spectaculars of the Las Vegas show and also of 'The Great Waltz,' " he said. Klamath Carpenters Ask for Negotiator Klamath Falls U.R) Strik ing carpenters in Klamath Falls have asked for an international representative of the union to come here to aid in negotiations in the 10-day strike that has idled 200 men.
