Bridge Players Here for Tourney Duplicate bridge players from Roseburjj and Grants Pass are in Medford this week end to participate in the annual indivi dual tournament of Medford Duplicate Bridge club. Scores for the regular session of the local club held March 13 when seven tables of Howell movement were in play have been announced. Placing first were Mrs. H. J. Boyd and William Kennedy who scored 82 points. In second position were Mrs. T. J. Fuson and Mrs. F. R. Baker, who had 72Vi; third went to Mrs. Rich ard Milestone and Roy Pruitt, with 65, and in fourth position were Mrs. W. W. Stevenson and Berg Marten with 6414. (Brainerd photo) Meeting Planned By Navy Mothers; Card Party Set Rogue Valley Navy Mothers' club will meet Tuesday, March 20, at 10 a.m. for a busines meet ing at the home of Mrs. Loren McKay, 2617 Howard avenue. A covered dish luncheon will be served at noon- A workshop during the meet ing will feature baby layettes, afghans and quilt blocks. Members are reminded to bring table service to the meet ing as well as rummage and us able small household furnish ings for a rummage and plant sale planned for the near future. Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. the club will conduct a card party in the theater room at Camp White. Anyone interested may attend. Members have been ask ed to furnish home made pies for this occasions. Birthday Dinner Honors Student Jacksonville A birthday din ner honoring George Perreard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marty Per reard, 410 Third street, Jackson ville, was served last Thursday at the Perreard home. For the supper fondue, a typ ically Swiss dish was served, and attending the event were the honored guests grandparents from Medford. He is a member of the National guard and also is a senior at Jacksonville high school. Music for the occasion will be furnished by the local mu sicians union. Those who want transportation should be at the Trailways bus depot at 7:30 p.m. 4 Meeting Postponed By Lydia Circle Lydia circle,' Zion Lutheran church, has postponed its next meeting from Tuesday, March 20, to March 27. It will be held at 8 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Hans Edwardsen, 211 Summit avenue. Visitor Attends Auxiliary Session The Townsend auxiliary club will meet Wednesday March 21 at 12:30 p.m., in Carpenters hall, I2312 West Main street. At a meeting of the club last Wednesday David Wilson, pres ident of the Central Point Town- send club, was a guest and 32 members attended. Rowe- Smith of Medford was honored during the social hour in observance of his birthday and was presented birthday cakes. The club's regular dinners will be held on the second Wednesdays of each month beginning April 11 and visitors are invited. It also was announced that the group will have rugs woven at Camp White.
