Bloodstains Found On Youth's Clothes Said To Be Human Wheeling, W. Va.-(U.R) Hu man bloodstains were found Sat urday on overalls of a 14-year-old twin taken into custody with his brother after the blud geon slaying of nine-year-old Cub Scout David Powell. Ohio county authorities said they were awaiting results of ad ditional tests to determine whe ther the stains matched the blood of the battered victim, State police technicians also were comparing dirt on the gar ment with earth samples from beneath the porch-' where - the Scout's body lay. The twins, described as "hot suspects" by County Prosecutor Joseph A. Gompers, remained with their parents in whose cus tody they were released after brief questioning Friday night Lie Detector Tests Police also revealed that a teenaged chum of the twins had submitted to a lie detector test administered by Trooper James Baisden. The results were not ; revealed. The Powell boy s body was found Friday under the porch of a neighbor's home where young sters sometimes held "club' meetings. The young victim ap parently was attacked as he made the rounds of neighbors' homes selling tickets for a Cub ; Scout project. The twin first told authorities the stains on his overalls came from a "catsup sandwich." Later the husky youth said they came from 'pigeon's blood." Wheeling Patrolman Reece Blair returned from Charleston with the report the laboratory tests showed the markings to be human blood. 1 Daily's U-Drive Medford Airport ST0P"S0FT-BED"BACKACHI Save as Never Before in This Great National ' k-:' -'J ijrv' V j EXTRA-FIRM MATTRESS ...
