Funeral services for William
H. Stinson, 58, of Fall Creek,
Calif., who died Saturday, will
be held at Conger-Morris chapel
at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, with
the Central Point Lodge AF& AM
in charge. Committal will be in
the IOOF cemetery.-

Mr. Stinson0 was born May 7,
1897, in Medford, near Roxy
Ann. He was the son of the late
Edward and Rose Stinson who
came to Medford in 1891. He
first went to work for Copco at
the first dam site og the Klam
ath river in 1915. He attended
Oregon State college and en
listed in the Army, Jan. 9. 1918,
in Vancouver. He served with
the AEF from May 3 through
December, 1918. He was dis
chargedoDec. 28, 1918, at Camp
Lewis, Wash.
After his discharge in 1918 he
worked for a time in the Pros
pect area, then moved to Grants
Pass. From 1928 until 1934,
when he returned to Medford he
lived in Crescent City. In 1947
he moved to Roseburg wherg he
was superintendent for Copco
until -October, 1954, when , he
moved to Fall Creek, Calif., as
chief operator, because of ill
ness. He was a member of Central
Point Lodge,. AF&AM; Medford
Scottish Rite, . Hillah Temple,
AAONMS, Ashland and Doug
las Court, Order of Amaranth,
Roseburg.
Survivors include his wife,
Lucy M. Stinson; daughters,
Mrs. H. J. Wright, Medford;
Mrs. S. O. Gibson,' Springfield,
Ore.; Mrs. R. P. Jensen, Central
Point; Mrs. D. J. Lockett, San
Leandro,' Calif.; Mrs. P. F. Wag
ner, Santa Monica, Calif.; a son,

Calif.; two. daughters, Mrs.
Charles Russell, Hollywood,
Calif.; and Mrs. Jack Keelan,
Costa Mesa, Calif.; a niece, Mrs.
Hugh Winning, Burbank, Calif.;
nine grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren.

Two Youths Arrested
!n Burglary Cases
Two more county youths, who
gave their ages as 17, were ar
rested by sheriff's officers yes
terday in connection with a
number of county burglaries."
Deputies said the two, with
three others jailed Saturday, ad
mitted burglaries of Becker's
drug store, Gold Hill, and the
Gold Hill, Rogue River and West
Side schools. Not all the youths
took part in every entry, how
ever, they said. .
The five have been remanded
to juvenile authorities and are
held pending juvenile court
hearings before Judge H. K.
Hanna.
