Amended Ordinance Passed At Ashland Ashland An amended ordin ance effective Feb. 1. 1956, abol ishes payment of a 50-cent pen alty for over-due users of elec tricity and provides that service will be turned .off five days after an over-due notice has been sent. The amendment was passed by Ashland city council Tuesday night. The council instructed that power futoffs be rigidly enforced with exception only to known hardship cases.
