The midnight Eucharist will be celebrated at 11 p.m., on Christ mai eve with a meditation on the Nativity by the rector, the Rev. George R. V. Bolster. St. Mark's senior choir, under the direction of Ward Smith, pre senting traditional Yuletide mu aic. In addition to Christmas Tiymnspand carols, the music will include as an introit a vocal-violin interpretation of "O Holy Night," by Mrs. w. r Herman and Miss Shirley Staf ford. The choir will present, "Halleluiah." from Handel's "Messiah." The service will con elude with the "Nunc Dimittis.' Mrs. Marguerite Conrad organ ist. will Dlav "Christmas Pastor ale" by Merkel and "Receive Your Kine." by Handel. The service will be broadcast over KYJC from 11 p.m. until mid night. The Holy Eucharist will be celebrated again at 11 a.m., Christmas day. Meditations will be given by the Rev. Robert F. The first service will be a traditional Christmas eve candlelight and choral service at 11 p.m., when Dr. Balcomb will speak on the theme, "The Star Over Med ford." Two services will be held on Christmas day, Dec. 25 at 9:30 and 11 a.m., and Dr. Balcomb's subject will be "A Strange Text for Christmas." The church's traditional "March to the Manger" will be held at jhe Sunday services with each worshipper presenting a gift for the Christ. The service will close with the Hallelujah chorus ' from the "Messiah" by Handel. The candlelight serv ice is scheduled for 9:30 p.m. Christmas day devotional services are planned for 11 a.m., and will include music, a pro gram by Sunday school stu dents, and a talk on "Good Tid ings of Great Joy," by Kath erine Bosworth, leader. Schedule Planned For Zion Lutherans Zion Lutheran church, corner of Fourth st., and North Oak dale ave., will observe the birth of Christ with a service of wor ship through song on Christmas at 11 p.m., and with the services of Holy communion at the 11 a.m. worship on Christ mas day. The Christmas eve service will include songs by the con gregation and the choir. Famil iar carols will be sung.. The choir under the direction of Oscar Bjorlie, will sing, "How Far Is It to Bethlehem?", an ar rangement by P.
