Jailed Gary Herbert Wood

appear. Glenn LeRoy Johnson,

in district court Friday on a
charge of improper muffler, and
jailed pending payment of the

charge of local arrangements.
The deceased was born on
May 25. 1399. in Sewannee
Tenn. He had lived in South
western Oregon since 1949.
He enlisted in the army on
May 16, 1918, at JacksonBar
raoks, -Louisiana, and was dis
charged on Feb. 4, 1919 at Camp
Knox, Kentucky, as a Pvt., Sup
ply Co., 71st Field Artillery.
Survivors include a sister,
Mrs. Anna Sirls, Nashville, Tenn.
