Won't Withdraw Suit However he indicated he did not plan to withdraw the divorce action. Schmidt has been avoiding the harsh glare of publicity sur rounding his "Enoch Arden" status. Until his brief state ments Saturday he has not dis cussed the matter with newsmen since he retained an attorney earlier this week. The airman indicated at that time he wanted no part of Una, the childhood sweetheart he mar ried shortly before leaving for Korea in 1952 with a B-29 squad- ron. Schmidt filed a divorce suit Friday in Red Bluff, some 50 miles, west of here. He charged Una with "extreme cruelty," al Icdging she was an unfit mother for their 2V2 year old son, Danny Jr. Despite his interest in a recon ciliation Schmidt said he was Daily's U-Driva Medford Airport at last!
