Edward Cushman, vice-president and top negotiator for the Nash-Hudson combine, said the ffer was rejected because it itill would leave American Mo tors with higher wage costs than the major automobile pro ducers. - - Cushman said American Mo tors, through various work agreements, has been paying jvorkers higher wages than the Jnajor auto companies.
