Eagle Point Council
Story is Corrected
Eagle Point Water rates
have not been lowered in Eagle
Point as was incorrectly report
ed in the Mail Tribune last
week. Only the water hook-up
rates have been changed, accord
ing to Mrs. Minnie Hinson, city
recorder.
The water connection rates
for private homes and businesses
have been standardized with
those now in effect in Medford.
In the same story, it was also
''reported that the new fire truck
cost $13,000, and that the cost
of the West Main st. improve
ments came to $1,800. These
sums are the balances left, and
not the full price, Mrs. Hinson
said. She added that these are
the only debts the city had re
maining from last year.
