Lewis, Norse! Get Mantles In AAU-Mitt Tournament Larry Lewis and Larry Nored won championships for the Medford Police Athletic league by taking decisions Saturday night in the finals of the Oregon AAU Boxing tournament at Hillsboro. Lewis defeated Noel Morfin, Burns, in the 112 class of the open division and Nored took measure of Ralph Powers, Al bany, in the 119 bracket of the sub-open grouping. Junior McDonald, Medford, had a Friday verdict in effect reversed and fought Denny Mover, Portland, in the 139 open finale Saturday. Moyer was given a second round TKO. Two Medford fighters, Larry Irvin and Jim Evans, were on the short end of decisions in Saturday afternoon sub - open scuffles. Lstor Anderson was awarded the nod in the 139 class, a id Trov Ellis, Vancou ver, Wash., was given the bout with Evans. Both decisions re portedly were disputed and un popular.
