' "Y" Club Meetings The YM CA Junior Ceramics club and Junior Stamp clubs will both meet tomorrow at the "Y" be tween 2 and 4 p.m. The'Ceremics club meets in Room A, and the Stamp, club in Room B, and the latter group will elect officers. Minor Surgery Two children underwent minor surgery today at Sacred Heart hospital, accord ing to attendants. Minor, 357 Taylor rd., Central Point. 20-80 Club Members of the Jacksonville Presbyterian church 20-80 club will meet Sat urday, Feb. 26, at 6:30 p.m., for a covered dish dinner at the church. After the dinner, the Offuts of the Central Point Ross motel will show slides which they took during the seven years they lived in South America., Offutt is a minig engineer and the couple recently moved here to live soon after arriving from South America. Stevens, Route 3, Medford, is to return this month from Kaneohe bay, Ha waii, with the 1st provisional amphibious reconnaiss ance group of the Marine corps, ac cording to a release from the former station. The group will return to its home base at Camp Pendleton, Calif. AT SCHOOL- Airman Third Class Charles H. Hollis, son of Mr. and Mrs, C. H. Hollis, 510 Mae st., is at tending the Navy preparatory school, at the Bainbridge, Md., Navy training center. He is a member of the Air Force. The school provides an intensive nine month course of instruction for members of the Armed forces on active duty who have been nominated for appointment to the Navy academy, according to a Navy release. AT SAN DIEGO Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Nyberg, Old Stage rd., Central Point, have received news from their son, Merle Nyberg, that he has arrived at the Navy training center at San Diego, Calif.
