Out fell the sticker plug two traffic violation tickets dated several months before. He beat the $5 inspection sticker fine, but had to pay a total of $22 on the old violations. Medford March of Dimes Figure Reaches $19,424.91; More Due Based on figures of money al ready tabulated, the January March of Dimes campaign in Medford totaled $19,424.91, ac cording to Thomas J. Reeder, city chairman. Money known to be outstanding in pledges is ex pected to raise the total by $500, Reeder said. Last year's cam paign in Medford brought $20, 125.62. - Reeder- said he was well pleased, with the results of this year's campaign in Medford and said the city will rank high in the state and nation when com pared on a per capita basis. Breakdown of projects and events, which raised over $100, as compiled by J. D. Montieth, campaign treasurer, follow: Mail cards, $2,767.75; coin collectors, $809.26; senior high school MOD day and school cards, $337.54; business gifts, $1,077.05; Crater Lions radio auction, $1,119.95; steer give away, $1,054.65; coffee parties, S261.16; basketball games, $325.10; Mystery Man contest, $396.10; theater collections, $830.55; Christmas tree pick-up, $552.60; milk o' dimes, $342; Bucket of Bucks dances, $547.26; Midway Auction, $490; Mile o' Dimes, $186.19; square dances, $197.62; radio stations, $220.27; remembrance fund, $141.50; bowling league, $181.18; Big Y, $332.65; Union club, $164.15; Exchange club, $125; sidewalk toll, $246.38; Moose lodge Y club, $131, and Mothers' March $5,484.94. '. ' . ' ' Reeder expressed thanks to all those who assisted with the campaign. "It is impossible to individ ually thank each and every one," he said, "because in a campaign of this type so many people assist who have not been asked." . . , . Boy Scoufs Troop 9 Troop 9 met Monday at the First Christian church with Dr. Roberts, Scoutmaster, in charge. Scouts attended classes, by ranks, and look part in "patrol corners." An inter patrol con test, in which the contestants are running very close, was dis cussed. .
