to debate teams from Grants
Pass, North Bend, Medford, Cra
ter 'high school and Ashland.
Students from those schools and
Roseburg, Henley and Talent
were given ratings from "excel
lent" to "superior" in extemp
oraneous speaking, radio speak
ing, poetry reading, oratory, im
promptu speaking and after din
ner speaking.

went to Tim Hillerman and Pat
Hanson in extempore, excellent
plus to Don Kellington in radio
