Mrs. Margaret Corcoran, sec retary to the chief medical of ficer, was in Portland for the holidays. Among changes scheduled for the new year is the transfer of the laboratory from the arts and crafts building to the medical building so that it will be more convenient for the medical staff. Plans are being made to estab lish a receiving ward in the building across from the infirm ary.
