FOUR MEDFORD (OREGON) MAIL TRIBUNE Engagement News Revealed Tuesday At Dinner Party Shady Cove Mr. and Mrs. . Ernest W. Segessenman of Shady Cove announced the engagement Miss Mary Segessenman of their daughter, Miss Mary Elizabeth Segessenman, to Ches :' ter H. Pfluke Jr., during the v holidays.-Mr. Pfluke is a son of Chester H. Pfluke, Canton, Ohio. News of the engagement was revealed at the Segessenman home Christmas day, and at a dinner December 23 at Rogue Valley Country club which hon ored Miss Segessenman. Attend ing the dinner were Miss Joyce Conner, Eugene Erickson, Dolph Larson, Mrs. Jack Ross, Shady Cove,. Miss Lila Hukill, Miss Alice Hastings, Miss Joan Piland, 0 Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Gleason, Mrs. Charles Blaess, Larry Gall, Robert Blaess, all Medford, the guest of honor, Miss Segessen man and the hosts. The dinner table was center ed with an arrangement of pink and white snapdragons, pink roses and pink candles. . . The names- of the engaged couple were on the Dink and cold riace cards. Miss Segessenman is a grad uate of St. Mary's High school, Medford, and also attended the University of Oregon. She is employed by The Hub, men's store. Mr. Pfluke was graduated from Reno High school, Nevada, and also attended the University of Nevada. He is employed by Western Electric company in conjunction 'with the Bell Tele phone company. ,, No immediate wedding plans have been made since Mr. Pfluke is) being transferred from Med ford. Snook, Route 2, Central Point, announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Patricia Mae Snook, to Marvin Arnold Bohnert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold J. The wedding is set for late fall of 1955. Miss Patricia Snook Two PEO Chapters Schedule Meetings Two PEO chapters have an nounced meetings this week. Chapter CG of the sisterhood will meet Wednesday, January 5 at 7 p. m. with Mrs. Niles Smith, 316 South Groyeland Avenue. Mrs. G. T. Haupert will be the assisting hostess and Mrs. J: D. McPherson wil have charge of the program. ' Chapter BE of PEO will meet Tuesday evening, January 4, at the home of Mrs. W. A. Thomp son, 135 North Holly street, with Mrs. R. A. Holmes as co-hostess. Miss Anette Gray will be in charge of the program. . Hon Church Circles To Meet on Tuesday A general meeting of all circle members of the Zion Lutheran church is scheduled for Tuesday, January 4. Crater Gardeners To Decorate Chapel Central Point Members of Crater Garden club will furnish decorations for the Camp White ehapel January 15. The commit tee is made up of Mrs. Jerry MacDougal, Mrs. Warren Hol brook and Mrs. Leonard Kunz man. The committee was appointed during a recent meeting of the club when the members met for a Christmas party at the home of Mrs. Henry Friesen, Table Rock road. Fifteen members attended and Mrs. Friesen was a guest. Mrs. Vern Ludwig was award ed a prize and Mrs. Clarence Mellbye spoke on the Christmas rose. Mrs. Pearl Bailey was co hostess. Bon Cordier left .Today for Ore-Tech where Mr. Cordier is a student at Ore gon Techrical institute. They visited in the valley with rela tives through the holidays.
