' will be presented in a sacrert I concert Tuesday, at 7:45 p.m., , at the Medf ord Assembly of God, 1108 West Main st. The chorus, under the direc tion of the - Rev. Wilmer N. Brown is from the Western Ev angelical seminary of Portland. The group is making a two-week tour of California and southern Oregon. Mrs. Brown is accomp anist for the group. ' The Rev. Mr. Brown is an or "dained minister of the Evangel ical United Brethren church. Dr. and Mrs. Paul P. Petticord will accompany the choir. Dr. Petticord is president of the Western Evangelical seminary, a graduate school of theology. Mrs. Petticord is a chalk art , ist and will draw for the service tomorrow night. Her drawings, in black light chalk, portray scriptural settings. , - Included on the Tuesday night program will be trombone and cornet solos as well. as the group numbers by the Seminaires' chorus. The public is invited to attend this interdenominational con cert. No admission charge will be made. 'Shipwreck' Kelly in Critical Condition Tucson, Ariz. Sullivan Lists January Fights At St. Nicholas New York (U.R)' - Promoter-matchmaker Tex Sullivan scoffed at rumors of decreasing interest in Television fights to day and announced that 52 weekly fistic TV shows would be staged at St., Nicholas arena during 1955. He also '. announced the five January matches. Sullivan's .'London Sporting club began promoting weekly video scraps at St. Nick's last May 17. "And we have noted constantly increasing all-round interest since then," he explain ed. Syracuse Regains East Hoop Lead By UNITED PRESS The Syracuse Nationals' hopes of shaking off the New York Knickerbockers' challenge for first place in the Eastern divi sion of the National Basketball association were buoyed today by the combination of a last minute victory and a favorable schedule. The Nationals regained first place Sunday night by beating the Knicks, 97-92, in overtime after tying the score at 85-85 on Earl Lloyd's field goal with three seconds remaining.
